A truck driver was arrested on Thursday based on information from confidential sources. He was trying to bring gold biscuits from Bangladesh to India. The troopers took the truck to the warehouse for a search.

36 gold biscuits were found wrapped in a cloth behind the speaker box in the cabin of the truck. The arrested smuggler is Pradeep Roy Chowdhury. The detainee has been handed over to customs department.
