Weekly report was to be submitted. The Governor had already sent a message to the state universities in this regard. He sent his guidelines to universities in April itself.

State-politics has also been vigorously heated up due his instructions. The Education department said that the Governor took this decision unilaterally without informing them. A second letter was sent on Monday to the universities that they had not submitted the weekly report to the Governor.

Even after that the weekly reports were not submitted. That’s why the Givernor has taken a step further. According to sources, the Governor himself has given a show-cause notice to the Vice-Chancellors of 6 universities of the State. It is said that he wanted to know the reason why they did not submit the weekly report.
