The ‘golden ticket’ of the World Cup was handed over to Sachin Tendulkar.
BCCI posted the picture on their Twitter handle. The ticket was handed over to Master Blaster by Board Secretary Jay Shah as part of the Board’s ‘Golden Ticket for Indian Icons’ programme. The caption reads, ‘Iconic moment for cricket and country. BCCI Secretary handed over the Golden Ticket to Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar as part of the Golden Ticket Program for India’s Icons. The pride of the country Sachin Tendulkar has inspired many generations. This time he will be a part of ICC World Cup 2023. He will witness the live match.’
