
KL Rahul tests positive for Covid-19, uncertain for the T20I series against West Indies
KL Rahul’s return to the field has again been delayed.

Rohit Sharma’s deputy was supposed to return to the T20 series against the West Indies after recovering from the injury. Rahul was scheduled to leave for the Caribbean on Saturday. But he is not going for now.
After the meeting of the Apex Council of the Board on Thursday, the President of the Board informed that Rahul was infected with Covid. Currently, India’s star cricketer is undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. As per rules, he underwent a routine Covid test before flying to the West Indies. The report came positive. T20 series starts from July 29.
The Board has not said anything about whether Rahul will be available at all. He will be kept under observation for now.
