Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot claimed that Rahul Gandhi is the Prime Ministerial candidate of the Congress in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Ashok Gehlot told this to an all-India media when the topic of the India alliance came up, that this decision about Rahul Gandhi was taken after discussing with 26 opposition parties.

Taking a jab at Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan also said that the BJP came to power in 2014 with only 31 percent votes. The remaining 69 percent were against them. Modi became Prime Minister in 2014 for Congress. He is optimistic enough that people will vote for Rahul Gandhi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Everyone will trust India alliance.
