Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced this after meeting the ISRO scientists. He met ISRO scientists on Saturday after returning from Greece.

He congratulated them on the success. Modi was seen getting emotional while talking about the success of Chandrayaan 3. On this day, the Prime Minister announced the name of the place where Chandrayaan 3 landed as Shivashakti.

Prime Minister said, ISRO has made our country proud. We have reached places on the moon that no one has reached before. The whole world is praising India.

On this day, the Prime Minister gave a speech at the Bangalore airport. Then he went to ISRO office. Incidentally, Modi was in South Africa on the day of Chandrayaan 3 landing. He joined ISRO virtually. He greeted everyone with the national flag as Vikram Lander touched the moon.
