A terrible accident occured in Guwahati. Due to which 7 students of Assam lost their lives on the spot. 6 people were seriously injured. According to sources, their physical condition is critical.

According to all India media sources, the accident happened around 12:30 am on Sunday in Zulukbari. The SUV lost control and rammed into a pickup van.

According to Police sources, there were 10 students of Assam Engineering College in that SUV. Locals said that the car came at a high speed and lost control and hit a divider first. Then hit the pickup van.

7 engineering students died on the spot. 3 more students and 3 passengers of the pickup van were seriously injured. They were rescued and taken to Guwahati Medical College Hospital. The doctors said that the physical condition of the injured is critical.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased on hearing the news of the accident.
