A devastating fire broke out in a multi-storied hospital in Ahmedabad in the morning on Sunday.

The incident spread panic in a moment. 125 patients were quickly evacuated from the hospital to a safer place after the fire. No casualty has been reported so far.

According to the Police, the fire broke out in the basement of Rajasthan Hospital in Shahibagh area around 4:30 am. It spread quickly. Seeing black smoke, the hospital authorities informed the fire brigade. Firefighters and Police quickly reached the spot.

Currently 20 to 25 fire engines are working to extinguish the fire. The fire is still not under control. It is not known how the fire started.
