Cow trader arrested by Police with brown sugar worth 20 lakhs in Tripura!

Tripura Assembly election of 60 seats is to be held onl February 16. The Left Front has reached an agreement with the Congress in the elections. The north-eastern state has seen a long-running battle between the Congress and the Left. Later BJP came to power there. And the politics of Tripura has been heated around this election. Before the election, the Police have been catching drug dealers one after another.

One person was arrested with 121 grams of brown sugar in 11 packets in West Gokulnagar Phultali area under Amtali Police Station on Thursday. The name of the accused is Mohammed Zahar Mian. His home West Gokulnagar, he is a cattle dealer by profession.

The Police got information about the accused long ago from secret sources. The focus was on him. Finally, the Police caught him red-handed on Thursday. Amtali Police Station OC Prajit Malakar said that the market value of recovered brown sugar is 20 lakh rupees. It is reported that the accused will be taken to court on Friday.
