After Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also boycotted NITI Aayog meeting.
The Chief Minister of Delhi wrote a letter to the Prime Minister boycotting the meeting. In the letter, he wrote that if the Prime Minister does not obey the Supreme Court order, then where will the common people go for justice. There is no point in attending Niti Aayog meeting in this situation. Incidentally, earlier, Mamata too said about boycotting the meeting.
She offered to send Chandrima Bhattacharya as a representative. But the proposal was rejected by the Niti Aayog committee. That is why there is no representative from Bengal in Saturday’s meeting.
This time Kejriwal also walked on that path. Delhi Govt is in opposition to Centre’s Ordinance Bill. The Chief Minister of Delhi has approached the BJP opposition parties to stop this bill. Incidentally, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has lao decided not to attend the NITI Aayog meeting.
