Meanwhile, 5 children have died in the state in the last 24 hours. 5 children died in 2 government hospitals. 3 children died at BC Roy Hospital, while 2 children died at the Mother and Child Hub at Calcutta Medical College.
Amid the adenovirus panic, the fear of this pneumonia attack is increasing. According to the family of one of the five dead children in Madhyamgram, the child was infected with adenovirus. He was first admitted to the hospital and recovered after treatment. He went back home. Later he was admitted to Calcutta Medical College as his body fell ill again. The child was 6 months old. He died this morning. A total of 10 children died in the state in the last three days.
