Be ready to treat your taste-buds with this fruity, juicy, fresh, delectable and utterly beautiful mango rose cake!!
Recipe – (inner cake)
Dry ingredients :
Atta – 2 cups
Powder sugar – 1.5 cups
Cocoa powder 1 cup
Baking powder 1 tbsp
Baking soda 1 tsp
Sieve the mixture & keep it aside
Wet ingredients :
Melted butter – 1/2 cup
1 egg (optional)
Milk- 1 cup
Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
Whipped cream, yellow food colour and 4 to 5 Mangoes for decoration
Mix all the wet ingredients well with manual or automatic blender.
Then gradually add the dry ingredients in it & mix well. Make sure there is no lumps.
Once done pour the mixture into a pre-greased cake tin (grease the tin with oil or butter & place butter paper) & bake it in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 mins.
Use a toothpick to check whether the cake is cooked.
Let the cake cool down completely. Slowly take it out from the tin and cut the cake carefully in two layers.
Fill mango pieces & whipped cream on the 1st layer & then carefully place the 2nd layer on top.
Cover the cake with whipped cream all over. Then place thin mango slices to give the cake the beautiful shape of a rose.
