‘Bodyguard’ director Siddique is critically ill.
His condition is critical. The 63-year-old director is currently admitted to Amrita Hospital in Kochi. He was already undergoing treatment for pneumonia and liver disease.
It is also learned that the Malayali director and screenwriter is currently breathing through an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machine. Siddique has been associated with the Malayalam entertainment world for three decades. He has directed several successful and popular films. He has always made spicy family pictures.
Siddique began directing with the film Ramji Rao Speaking. His notable works include ‘Godfather’, ‘Kabulwala’, ‘Hitler’, ‘Friends’, ‘Vietnam Colony’, ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’.
In 2011, Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor acted in the film ‘Bodyguard’ directed by him. That movie was a super hit. He was the producer of the 2020 film ‘Big Brother’ starring Arbaaz Khan and Mohanlal.
