Former Mahindra Group Chairman Keshub Mahindra passes away. He was 99 years old. He was the chairman of the organization from 1963 to 2012.

Philanthropist and businessman Keshub Mahindra has held senior positions in SAIL, Tata Steel, Tata Chemicals, Indian Hotels and ICI. Keshub joined his father’s company Mahindra & Mahindra in 1947.

He was the Chairman of the organization from 1963 to 2012. After he retired he was succeeded by his nephew Anand Mahindra. He graduated from a university in Pennsylvania.

From 2004 to 2010, Keshub Mahindra was a member of the Prime Minister’s Council of Trade and Industry.
